Well, it’s totally summer. It was so hot and sticky this week I could hardly believe it. After a week of temperatures in the 100s it’s not 60 and raining. I can’t believe it! I’m sorry I have not updated My Music World blog in a while. I still plan on attending the Jack Johnson concert tomorrow although I’m kinda bummed about the current rainy weather. Non the less, a concert is a concert. I’ll be sure to post Thursday or Friday and let you know all about it. If I remember correctly Jack Johnson was not touring last summer. He some times comes to Bend which is awesome because my parents live there and it’s a 5 minute walk to the amphitheater. I don’t think I’ll be able to attend Dave this summer which I’m totally bummed about. I had the time of my life last summer at Dave. I had such a good time I let my friends drive my car home and I stayed for the third show. I had just quit my job and was feeling on top of the world. The great thing about Dave is how many great people you can meet. Everyone is so friendly and chill. I will say that it took me almost two days to detox from that extended weekend. I also had lost my phone at the concert on Sunday and some nice person answered it and shipped it back to me. Got to love Dave! Well, since my work schedule will not allow me to see Dave this year I will have to settle for Jack Johnson. I’ll update you guys on the concert later.

I was chatting with my roommate today as she looked over what concerts were in our local area in the coming weeks. She stopped, then laughed, “how about Journey?” I also started to laugh but sadly I was intrigued. I really think that could be a lot of fun. The venue is an outdoor amphitheater which would be totally sweet. I love summers here in the NW because of all the great music to be heard out doors. In my opinion this is the way all concerts should be experienced. I cringe at that idea of having to go to the massive basketball arena to see a show. To me, hearing a concert out doors is so much more personal. To Journey or not Journey that is the question. So I got totally side tracked when I was writing this post and started looking into journey sites. There is the official Journey website. I think I just might have to indulge myself
